Ashby: Collierville High School Senior Class of 2016

I absolutely LOVE all these high school seniors that have contacted me to take their senior photos!!! Meet Ashby, Collierville High School Class of 2016. I actually had the opportunity to meet Ashby several years ago when she was at Schilling Farms Middle School. It’s hard to believe she’s with the Class of 2016. Ashby is the last gal from my Senior Reps Casting Call. Between the weather and our crazy schedules, we finally made this shoot happen.

I love that these guys give me creative licenses to take my vision and trust my judgement with what I think a senior shoot should look like. Well, what does that look like? It’s actually not the same for every session or every individual. Based on some of Ashby (and her mom’s responses) and outfits, we picked some locations. The sun was out BRIGHT that day, so we had to modify some of our locations and ideas. (This is why I never rely on Pinterest for my ideas, either!) I’m kind of a spazz, and I get excited about random things while shooting.

I actually had Ashby and her mom meet me at Memphis Pizza Cafe in Collierville, and we drove down Byhlia Road in Collierville. There was this nondescript spot off the side of the road that I thought would be perfect, and it didn’t disappoint. While we were there shooting, I found several other awesome spots!! We then drove to another spot in Collierville and finished our session.

I’m so excited that Ashby is going to be on of our reps this year!
