Oh, if you had been at this session, you would have thought we were herding cats! Four kids 8 and under were at this session, and each child had a mind of his/her own. When one child was “on” the other was “off”. At one point, mom looked at me as if she must have been insane for attempting this in the first place! This crew consists of two brothers and a sister and one cousin. Part of the fun and challenge of being a professional photographer, besides creating beautiful portraits!, is getting children engaged. I looked at the kids and started singing “Hakuna Matata” from The Lion King. That, my friends, is all she wrote for a successful photo session 🙂
