In case you missed it…Voted Memphis Best Family Photographer!
I have been meaning to write this post for a few days… it’s just so hard to write it!
Those of you who know me, know that I truly love what I do! When it comes to work, I want to be honest, kind, patient, and hardworking. After many years, I have come to the realization, that when it comes to work, as long as my clients love the work I produce, receiving awards, recognition, honors, etc, really should be secondary. I’m not here to win awards. I’m here to produce art that clients love.
I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that being nominated and winning Nickelodeon’s Parents Picks for Memphis Best Family Photographer didn’t excite me. It did–I am human, afterall! It excited me to know that 1) I was worthy of being nominated and 2) My clients supported me no matter the outcome. The encouraging e-mails that came my way were humbling and uplifting, and I want to thank so many of my clients and friends who believed in me–even when I didn’t have the award behind my name.
