Happy Valentine’s Day| Memphis Photographer

Valentine’s Day: the day of love. According to Wikipedia, love is: “a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; and “the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another”. I can think of no greater example of love shown than when God sent His ONLY son to die on a cross for all of mankind.

Do you know we are all called to show love daily? We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our family strives to do this individually and as a unit. There are so many ways we can show God’s love to others…whether it’s inviting that new kid at school to eat lunch with you (my 14 year old), sharing your testimony in front of the class (my 8 year old), telling your students you’re a Christian (my husband), or writing your testimony on the internet (me).

I am ashamed to admit that sometimes I fail at showing God’s love…whether it’s because of being “too busy” or being “too insecure”. We all have our excuses. This is the devil’s way of hindering God’s work. In fact, a few weeks ago, the pastor at our church said, “How much do you have to NOT love someone to not share the gospel of Christ?” Don’t let today go by without showing love to someone. Let every day be a “Valentine’s Day” where we let God’s love flow through us to help His cause.

Blessings and Peace,
Cindy
