Memphis Wedding Photographer {Calliope Room}
I’m not sure what’s in the water lately, but I’ve been getting lots of e-mails and messages asking about my Memphis Wedding Photographer packages. Maybe it was all those engagements that happened over the Christmas season?? At any rate, it’s so much fun to communicate and meet with prospective brides and families as they plan their weddings here in Memphis. Next up on the blog are Joy and Reggie! Joy and Reggie had a September wedding that was held at the Calliope Room in downtown Memphis. This couple may look familiar to you as I photographed their Memphis engagement photos and showcased them on the blog as well.
Joy and her girls decided to get ready at her home in Memphis. When I drove up to the home, Justin from Message in a Bottle Productions was already there videoing the day’s events. (FYI…this guy rocks the video camera!) With the wedding just “minutes” away, I was a little alarmed if the ceremony would start on time, but Joy and her girls proved to be up for the task! We took a few photos while the girls were getting ready, and we were off to the Calliope Room. The sun was shining brilliantly, and the temperatures were absolutely perfect. I loved watching Justin interview Joy and Reggie, and their expressions were truly priceless in video and on the digital camera, too.
Joy and Reggie were surrounded by family and friends who love them and support them. My favorite part of the day actually occurred towards the end of the festivities when Joy’s son asked her to dance. It’s enough to melt a momma’s heart. I know she has two wonderful men looking after her heart now.
