New wedding venue in Byhalia, MS-Thistledome House
I recently had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding at an historic venue in Byhalia, MS called Thistledome House. Built in the 1800’s, this ancestral home has been turned into a gorgeous wedding venue and intimate event space. Lacey and Al decided to have their outdoor wedding at this venue. The elements of this estate did not disappoint, and the renovations provided such a lovely backdrop for their wedding day. Although it did rain on their wedding day, there was an outdoor tent that was a great “PLAN B”.
When I met with Lacey and Al, we talked about lighting and where the ceremony would take place. I also went over a timeline with them, so we could figure out first look, family photos, bridal party photos, and ALL THE THINGS. Creating a photography timeline is essential, so all your vendors can have a copy. Additionally, your family and your bridal party will know when things are going to start.
