Warning! This blog post is about to share some more of my personal thoughts and feelings!
I first met this family a year and a half ago when I photographed their recent addition. They probably have no idea how they were being used as agents of God to help our family, but they really impacted our family in mighty ways. When I think back to how I met them, I can only say, “It’s all God.” Mr. S ended up hiring my husband at his place of employment. Getting hired at this company is like getting hired at The White House. So when I say it was “All God” I mean every single word. During this time, my husband mentioned to Mr. S that we were looking for a new church home. Mr. S invited us to visit Germantown Baptist Church, and we felt the Lord calling us to make a change there. It just goes to show that small gestures make a big impact, and we can do great things if we just follow what God intends for us to do.
OK.. sorry about that! I just had to share a little history with this GREAT family! We were actually on our way to our car when Mrs. S stopped me in the church parking lot. “Cindy! I need some updated photos of the boys while the azaleas are in bloom. What do you have available?” We picked the coldest morning to do the photos, but we managed to capture some adorable photos.
Thanks for everything S Family. What a blessing you are.
Blessings and Peace,
Thought for the day:
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
