You Are the Glue
I will probably rewrite this sentence many times because the reality is life is a little (ok, a lot) uncertain right now. I understand that things we used to just KNOW, count on, depend on, rely on, kind of just understood to be, well, no longer is. I know you don’t need me to spell that out for you.
But navigating my own little business in the sea of chaos is like chartering a pontoon boat in a hurricane. Often times I smile my great big smile, and trust me, I am a happy person. I try not to dwell on the circumstances for which I have zero control.
I know many of my friends in the wedding industry are suffering. They have lost significant income. Many of my friends in this business have even lost their jobs. I’m thankful that I can still work when you call on me.
So you might wonder–what is the point of this blog post? There aren’t any pretty photos coming after you read these words today.
I guess I just wanted you to know that as a small business owner, I appreciate you and your support through the years. Thanks for all the mentions and comments on social media “Cindy Thymius Photography is great” or “I use Cindy Thymius as my photographer”. I know you do not have to do that. I know these gestures and actions do not cost you anything but your time, but did you know that could mean something significant to me, especially right now?
I always have such a great time with you and a camera in my hand. Here’s to making more memories and you trusting me to create them for you.
